Pouch Machines

An automatic pouch packing machine is a machine that fills and seals pouches/doypacks.
We manufacture 2 types of pouch machines: pre-made pouch machines and reel-fed pouch machines.

Reel-fed pouch machines draw a reel of heat-sealable film into the machine and use folding and heat-sealing bars to produce a variety of pack shapes and sizes. They have high production rates but are less suited to larger or changing packaging. They can insert special features like resealable closures, valves and easy-open notches.

Pre-made pouch machines use already fabricated packs and fill and seal them. These machines are ideal when your packaging regularly changes or if your pouches are large. Pouches will usually already include any special features, however equipment to add these can still be incorporated e.g. date coder./span>

In the MH170 and MH250 there is the ability to have 2 consecutive filling stations. This allows for the depositing of 2 different products into the same pouch. All products can be packed as the machines are paired with product-dependent dosing systems e.g. augers for powders, weighing machines for free-flowing products, liquid fillers for fluids of varying viscosities and counters for numbered items.

These machines are fully automatic and produce pouches at speeds far greater than possible with manual or semi-automatic methods.
