Sealers

Band sealers, or heat sealers, are semi-automatic machines designed to use heat and pressure to seal heat-sealable material together. This mechanism is used to seal pouches, bags and doypacks by melting a strip in the bag together.

These machines require an operator to feed the pack into the band before the band draws the pack through the sealing jaws to create a hermetic seal. The integrated conveyor is synchronised to the band, moving the product along from one end to the other.

Band sealers are semi-automatic allowing for a budget-friendly machine that can handle a huge range of packs made from any heat-sealable material.

Usually part of a semi-automatic production line, band sealing machines are often paired with semi-automatic dosing systems e.g. powder fillers, liquid fillers, feeding, counting and weighing machines.
