Horizontal Sachet Machines

Horizontal sachet machines move the sachet across the forming, filling and sealing stations in sideways movements, as opposed to vertical packaging machines. They create sachets sealed on 3 or 4 sides dependent on customer requirements.

A reel of heat-sealable film is fed into the machine and sealed to make the sides. The sachets can also be sealed on the bottom to create a quad-seal sachet. Next, the sachets are opened and filled before being sealed along the top and exiting the machine.

We offer 3 horizontal sachet machines, all of which come in simple and duplex configurations. The number refers to the maximum pack width e.g. the MH170 can pack sachets up to 170mm wide. Duplex machines pack 2 sachets at once, for these the maximum width is halved but production rates are doubled.

These are fully automatic machines that can be paired with different dosing systems making them invaluable to all industries packing any product type. An auger can be added for powder products, a weigher can be added for solid products and a liquid depositor can be added for liquids.

Accessories can be added to these machines such as labelling, coding and special closures.
