Description
Powder machines use augers and precise rotations to dose products. Product moves from hopper to auger and with each precise turn of the auger, a volume of powder is dispensed. Pre-programmed to meet a set volume, the rotations repeat whilst open packs are presented underneath to receive the powder.
Augers can be used with a huge range of products. Fine, non-free-flowing powders like flours, instant drink mixes, as well as free-flowing granules like sugar and salt can be catered to. Agitators and spinning discs encourage product flow whereas stop discs can stop dripping between turns.
The fully automatic design allows for seamless integration with other processing and packaging machines. Packs could simply be presented via conveyor, or VFFS, horizontal sachet, vertical sachet, pouch or stickpack machines.
