Multihead for Mixed Products

Capable of mixing up to 4 different products, there are 2 main configurations of these weighers. The 20-head machine allocates a 10-head multihead to each of the 2 products whereas the 24-head weigher is divided into 4 quadrants where all products are weighed in the same circle.

These weighing machines still use combination weighing technology whereby a hopper dispenses product into the surrounding buckets and buckets are opened when the load cells detect a combination that matches the target weight.

The machine is automatic and would likely be synchronised to other packaging and processing machinery e.g. a VFFS machine, pouch, stickpack, horizontal sachet or vertical sachet machine where the pack is automatically presented to the weigher, filled and moved away for further processing afterwards.

Additional adaptations can be made to suit your product including double door buckets, counting devices, rejection devices and timing hoppers.

Alike all weighing machines, the Multiheads for mixing products can be used across many sectors. Examples of products weighed by this machine include nuts, dried fruit, seeds, chocolates and other snacks.
