Description
The linear weigher uses vibrations to move the product into a pan with an adjoining load cell, slowing down when the target weight is approaching.
In semi-automatic models, when the target weight is reached an operator then presses a switch or a foot pedal to dispense the product whilst presenting the container or packet. In automatic models, the weigher would be synchronised to other packaging and processing machinery e.g. a VFFS machine, pouch, or sachet machine where the pack is automatically presented to the weigher, filled and moved away for further processing afterwards.
Additional adaptations can be made to suit your product. For instance, dimple plates, wind-proof doors, timing hoppers and rejection devices.
Alike all weighing machines the Linear 1-Head model can be used across many industries. Examples of products weighed by this machine include rice, coffee granules, seeds and small plastic pieces.
