Alike the A-range, heat-sealable film is drawn into the machine, made into a tube, filled and sealed once again before being cut allowing the newly formed bag to drop.
If packing powder or fine granules, an auger would be used to dispense the product, with liquids a depositor would be used, with solids a weigher and with larger objects a counter.
With impressive versatility, these machines can handle a wide range of packaging materials and can use them to create many packaging styles. For instance, the VM5 can form pillow, block bottom, gusseted, square and string packs; almost all pack types seen in the market today.
Additional options include coding by thermo-printer or ink jet, label application, edge marking, euroslot holes, and an impulse or mixed sealing system.
With colour touch screen control, it is easy to visualise adjustments and operate the machine, especially with the inbuilt 20-program memory. The bag packing machine is also simple to maintain and clean without the use of specialist tools allowing for maximum production and minimal down time.
