Bowl feeders are ideal for a wide range of products including bottle caps, DIY parts, foods and more. They can even orientate a product for specific placement angles.
Product is poured into the centre of the bowl where vibrations cause it to move outwards onto radial tracks. Product moves upwards on these spiralling tracks, out of the bowl. During this process additional features can turn parts, refuse and recycle them and order them in a single-file line.
At the end of the track is often a photoelectric sensor counting how many products pass by. This sensor can control the passing of product and therefore the quantity being packed.
A feeder and counter will usually sit on top of automatic packaging equipment like vffs, vertical sachet, horizontal sachet and pouch machines.
