Filling and Dosing Machines

These machines measure powders, granules and liquids before depositing them semi or fully automatically into packaging.

Our volumetric liquid filling machines accurately measure fluids of varying viscosities and volumes at impressive speeds. Volumetric methods mean that liquid is drawn into a compartment the same size as the target volume and then is pushed back out into its packaging. It is a highly reliable and precise way of measuring.

Our powder dosing equipment uses augers to volumetrically dispense consistent powders whether they are free-flowing or not. Agitators are used to promote product movement and spinning discs prevent blockages during dispensing. Augers can vary greatly in size to accommodate doses of 5-50,000g.

Both liquid and powder dispensing machines have semi-automatic and automatic versions. Semi-automatic configurations include a switch of food pedal which the operator uses to command the machine to dispense the product. The operator would likely also be presenting the packet under the discharge chute. In contrast, with automatic machines, a synchronised system e.g. VFFS, horizontal sachet, vertical sachet, pouch or stickpack machine or conveyor, would present the pack under the filler which would automatically dispense.
